Mission
Our mission at Waterloo Private Capital (WPC) is to provide advisory and support services within the private capital industry. We aim to provide opportunities for students at the University of Waterloo to explore the industry and be prepared for a career in finance.
The team aims to support clients in the private capital industry on initiatives that encompass transactional analysis and industry research. With previous experience with search funds and private equity firms, the team has had experience delivering quality work to their clients via various services.

Primary and Secondary Research Through in-depth primary and secondary research, WPC provides an analysis of an industry to identify growth, profitability, key players, relevant trends, and/or discover potential drivers for disruptions. |

Transactional Analysis We support clients in completing active transactions through in-depth due diligence along with valuations services. Our team is able to provide services under tight deadlines to support active transactions. |

Other Deliverables WPC is able to complete ad-hoc exercises per the clients' request such as deal sourcing, target identification, investment ideas, and market sizing. |
